I would think that winning this tournament, even if it only has 8 teams, carries more cache than winning the CBI. That being said, at least in the CBI Ohio gets an additional home game or two, which probably means more to the players. Sort of like a bowl trip in football. I like it. Also I like how in the CBI compared to the CIT, after you have paid for 2 home games you no longer have to pay to host, you just give the CBI the ticket revenue.
