Check out kenpom's defensive efficiency. If I remember correctly, I think Ohio is about #68 nationally. Ironically, offensively we are about 159. Need to keep working to improve the defense and regain better offensive efficiency. We will see how it goes vs Kent State. Got to give some credit to this coaching staff and the players for the improvement. Like Coach Phillips said, I'd rather be good defensively with improvements needed on offense than vice versa. I agree with you on this, especially given the offensive talent on this team. The only area of concern I have is how this group may match up against highly athletic teams. Most MAC teams don't fall into that category though. We need to build off of this performance. Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach.
