He would be better off going somewhere that he can play and develop.

How do you send someone to JUCO? This thread is bad and you should feel bad.

I think we should cut Dozier some slack. Sometimes bigs develop a little more slowly than other positions.

I saw him working on game after the Eastern loss, impressive.

Like the Reds sending Billy Hamilton to Louisville to work on improving certain areas of his game, I guess?

Ahh, makes sense. I hope he's not out of options. We should try sending him down for a bit to delay his clock and push back his first arbitration hearing.

Reminds me of Aswon Sayles. He ended up contributing by the end of his career

Seems like a strange thought, seems based in a belief that EVERY player who we successfully recruit will contribute meaningfully. Just not so.

And, we should penalize a player for that?

Frank has sent multiple players to Fort Scott, not for this reason though. Usually partial qualifiers are sent like Kadre Pinder or the twins.

You just said it yourself, not for this reason. You already know it's a dumb idea yet you posted it in not one, but two separate threads. Just stop.

It is not a dumb idea, the kid is not succeeding at Ohio, why not put him in a position to succeed. It is ultimately up to Dozier, if he wants to continue his education and ride the pine, that is fine. After next year, he loses the option to go to a JUCO and upgrade his skills without LOSING A YEAR OF ELIGIBILITY OR TRANSFERRING DOWN. It seems that he will continually fall behind with the new guys come in. This is called being innovative. and doing what might be best for the player.

First off the OHIO Football players who went JUCO before they came here were academic casualties or guys who had no DI offers. Football has NEVER "sent" a player from the roster to a JUCO to "develop". Your football knowledge is poor, your basketball knowledge is a bad joke.

I stated Solich did it with partial and non qualifiers, you did not read my post. Sometimes if a player does not workout the coaches will also facilitate a move to another university. Gary Waters has done it plenty of times at CSU and so has FS. It is not car wash season, but ask in the spring and they will tell you. My football knowledge surpasses your, trust me. Horrace Hubbard was sent to Fort Scott and he later transferred to Oklahoma State University. You may worship a coach or two but you know nothing. I made a very logical point but because of our past you just keep on coming. Last year, when the coaches went after Wadley like deandre Jordan, I said I wished they would have let him leave, now they are trying to help him transfer. Stop coming for me, you are not on my level. Gary Waters has done it plenty of times at CSU.

Except there is no such thing as sending a kid to JUCO. We can pull his scholarship and that's it. Once we do that he is gone and not coming back. If he does come back it will be in another team's uniform. To get better in our system he needs to do it in our practices against good competition. He doesn't need to do it in someone else's system against lesser players. And just because he's not valuable in our games doesn't mean he's not valuable in practice.

+1 You can facilitate a transfer to a JUCO and extend the player an offer again. I agree that he could be a good practice player and may have value there
