And Marshall doesn't look too bad. Unfortunately the Iona loss still looks terrible.

Agree GT is looking better than most expected which reflects well on us. Hopefully they finish the season the same way.

Semi-related: from the newslinks page on BA.. Some Schaus/Elton chatter about NCAA tourney http://www.cleveland.com/sports/college/index.ssf/2017/01...

According to RIP, Western Kentucky is the one bad loss. The Hilltoppers are in the 200s. Marshall is top 100 and Iona is right around Ohio's RPI just outside of the top 100.

Despite those good recent wins (and one at VCU), Georgia Tech is still just outside the top 100.

I think I meant to say WKU...or maybe I blocked it out of my memory entirely.

Could quite possibly be the worst interview that I've ever seen. I couldn't understand one thing Elton was saying. How the the hell does he expect Schaus to watch other teams in person???? Are you kidding me?

And another huge win at NC State. Shame we couldn't take care of business elsewhere or that win could have really meant something in March.

+1 Let's win the MAC or else we will be in the CBI again.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Never would have seen that coming. Remember when everyone (not necessarily here) had colorful things to say about the caliber of Pastner's coaching skills? Hmmm...It seems they're getting quite a bit out of their group right now.

I was one of the critical ones. Yes, I'm surprised, but we'll have to re-visit how well he did 4 years from now.

Definitely. Can't just use the first 2/3 of season one to evaluate a new coach.

And another win over a TOP 15 team over Notre Dame. What could have been for this OHIO resume if they did better in non-con and TC didn't get hurt. Well done Josh Pastner. I still don't like you, think you are a little swarmy, but glad my prediction from last summer that we'd come into your place and beat you turned out to be true.

Pastner ACC coach of the year? Ain't gonna be Coach K or Coach Williams.

Leonard Hamilton has to be the front runner at this point right? FSU is having a great year.

Yes but having a bad week with 2 losses to unranked teams. GT on Wednesday, Syracuse today.

Gonna be Pastner. Picked 14th in conference and some didn't think they would win a conference game.
