The key possession was when Ball State had a top scorer foul out and pearson twist his ankle. Blunted the comeback and pearson was never quite the factor. Cats 7-5 and with BG, Kent, Miami x2 a final MAC record of 11-7 is doable. Could be enough for the #2 seed this year so keep watching. Years ago we had an OHIO team that we called the Cardiac 'Cats because they always started behind, sometimes by 20 or more points, and then roared back in the second half and one in the waning seconds. This year we have a different version of the Cardiac 'Cats. Build up a big lead in the first part of the game and then blow it -- sometimes still pulling out the win (like tonight) and sometimes not.
