That's 5 technicals in 3 career games against OUr guys. 1.67 T's per game. Wonder what the NCAA record is against one opponent?

So much physical talent being wasted because mental weakness! He could be so dominant if he could control his emotions but it will never happen.

I wonder how many technicals he has over his career? I watch other EMU games on ESPN 3 and no matter who the opponent is it's the same old story with him.

Or against 1 player. If I am correct, I believe they are all (or almost all) against Block.

I thought the last one tonight was after Block had fouled out. Unless I missed something...I had to walk away from the radio broadcast and missed that part and the story behind JT4's latest fit.

The last came after Block had left. It was also after he had been whistled for his 5th . He was whistled as he lowered his arms on a rebound put back. As he was waling off the floor past the ref he expressed his displeasure. 6 fouls for the price of 5.

Is a player allowed to stay on the bench after a second technical foul? For some reason, I thought a second T sent the player to the locker room, but JT IV stayed on the bench and later made sure that Simmons was aware of how much he enjoyed him getting a T.

I hope Simmons made sure to let him know how much he enjoyed the scoreboard.

I know players complain about pretty much every foul but that last one was obvious. The ref then gave him quite a bit of latitude but Thompson kept chirping.

I think they're allowed to stay on the bench after the 2nd T. Akron's Johnson stayed on the bench after his 2nd T in the game at the Convo. But if they get tossed for something else, like fighting, they go to the locker room.

There's a reason he's playing at EMU, and it's not because Murphy & Co. are the greatest recruiters in the MAC.

Some guys are just very intense and have trouble controlling themselves. Too bad because he is a talented player.
It is always a good thing in college sports when a young man can move past this behavior and be know for his talent rather than his emotions. I hope it happens for him.
