Will Wade (Nashville native and longtime Vandy fan) will now get to coach against the team he grew up pulling for.

6 year deal to coach LSU.

On Feb. 15th, I would have thought Chattanooga Mocs coach Matt McCall (a Billy Donavan protege and former assistant for the Gators) would get the next VCU opening... but then the Mocs crashed and burned, losing their last five games.

Looks like McCall will be stuck in "SEE ROCK CITY" for a while longer.

VCU Nation speculates the first target to replace Wade is former Shaka Asst Mike Rhoades, now at Rice.

Also, I'd love to know what the payday is here for Will Wade. It might only be me, but other than salary, is LSU really a better job than VCU has been built into?
