Don't go for the bait, fellow BAers. You know BTC knows something.

Centre Daily Times of “the Happy Valley” mentions five to keep an eye on: the PSU Interim coach, head coaches at Bona, Cleveland State and Yale and associate head coach at Purdue.

That paper has at least one of those "possibilities" wrong and one conspiculously missing.

Thank goodness, for the sake of the reporter’s career, they aren’t errors related to a similar story about PSU football.

I can understand why Saul may be on some short lists. His Northern State team is 19-1. https://www.inforum.com/sports/basketball/6934386-Top-see...

Rooting for Rick Pitino to replace Richard Pitino just to imagine what Thanksgiving would look like.

And if you think Rick Pitino has too much integrity to do such a thing...

TOS to Utah. Larry Krystkowiak is out. He had a salary close $4M and hadn't made the tournament in five years. Yep, that'll do it.

Slightly OT: But Lincoln Memorial University has such a very interesting history, if you care to look it up.

To make it easy, here's a link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Memorial_University

Here's a key paragraph:

"in 1896, General Oliver O. Howard, a former Union officer who had helped establish Howard University (named for him), embarked on a lecture tour. Howard's agent, Cyrus Kehr, suggested Howard establish a university as a living memorial to President Abraham Lincoln. On June 18, 1896, Howard spoke at the Harrow School, an elementary school at Cumberland Gap founded a few years earlier by Reverend A. A. Myers. After the lecture, Myers asked Howard for assistance in establishing a college for the Cumberland Gap region. Howard related to Myers a conversation he had with Lincoln in 1863 in which the president expressed a desire to do something to help the people of East Tennessee, a majority of whom remained loyal to the Union during the Civil War in spite of the greater state's secession, and, remembering Kehr's suggestion, agreed to help Myers establish a university in Lincoln's honor."

Tim O’Shea is only 59 years old.

That blew my mind. I feel like he was 55 two decades ago.

Kind of like Larry David? He's looked like a senior citizen most of his adult life.
