That much we do know; he's not at Ohio. The Jones County Junior College Roster for 2015 is not up yet, so I'm not sure if he is there, but I suspect he is.

So he did enroll in Jones Country Junior College after all, but waited until Spring. If he has done well academically, he could be in the class of 2017. He'd make a nice name to be Ohio's first verbal of 2017.

If he plays this fall at Jones County I'm not sure we can keep him under commitment. I assume he redshirted last year and will be 3 for 3.

It sounded to me, from the tweet a few posts back, like Deontai was a grayshirt, and didn't enroll until January. If so, he still has his redshirt available. On the other hand, I would think it doubtful that he could be eligible by next Spring. I was thinking he might be in the class of 2017, but show up in the fall. That would give him a year and a half and JCJC, which is about as fast as you ever see it done.

I'm not sure if Deontai will be in the 2017 or the 2018 recruiting class. This website indicates it might be this year, but I don't see any other sign of that. I'm still thinking it will be 2018.

This was his freshman year at Jones, which they are also Bobcats. He only played in one game. I think he will probably play his sophomore year there to get more helpful experience. If he attended last year, he could graduate this year and come next fall. My guess is he would end up in the 2018 recruiting class.

-June 12th, 2017: Deontai Williams commits to Florida.
-October 29th, 2017: Florida fires Head Coach.
-November 30th, 2017: Javon Hagan tweets funny video.
-November 30th, 2017: Deontai Williams replies to Hagan's tweet with laughter.
-November 30th, 2017: Javon Hagan replies to laughter with "OU" and glancing eye emoji.
-November 30th, 2017: Deontai Williams favorites Hagan's tweet mentioning OU.
-December 7th, 2017: Deontai Williams decommits from Florida.

I've seen crazier things happen.

You love but hate to see it...former Bobcat signee is having quite a season with Nebraska. It was worth the risk but sucks it didn't work out here.

Deontai has 4 INTs on the season, just one behind the FBS leader.

He would've been a Back Up here then transfered to Hocking College.
