35-20 it is. Bobbies get the W.

I like where our Offense is headed.

I'm still not happy with the Defense, especially the Run D.

Nice W. Weird day for the defense. Huge day for Crabel and Hollobaugh. Have to figure out the (lack of) run defense.

The D has been Jekyl and Hyde in most games this year. Mr. Hyde in the first half and Dr. Jekyl in the second. In four of the first five games they gave up more points in the first half than the second: 31-3 at Rutgers; 7-3 vs WVA; 21-14 vs G-W; and 13-7 vs BG. Only O$U scored more in the second half, 13-24. It seems like they need halftime to settle in and make adjustments. Today they gave up something like 164 rushing yds in the first half, but only 16 in the second and something like minus 12 in the third quarter. Last year it seemed like the D came into most games with a great game plan but had trouble adjusting after the first quarter. Total opposite this year.

I will certainly take that dub! A lot of things need cleaned up. I just want to give a shout out to the BG band . We stayed for the post game play. Is was really nice. I spoke with a couple members at halftime. They said there were 475 members in attendance.

Nice win. Defense warmed up in the second half.

Sitting in the end zone club, I hated the BG band playing during the game! That’s crazy-I’m here for the football and the 110, not a concert by the visiting team’s band! My friends and I couldn’t hear anything each other said during the whole game.

I concur , The 110 outplayed their band soundly in the second half.

Unfortunately he's turning the ball over at an alarming rate. Got very lucky on the fumble that bounced back up into his hands.

Need to solve the special teams issues. BG's return yardage was ridiculous.

He's gotta protect the ball better. Could have had at least another score if not for fumbles. He is a magician though and fast.

Special teams are weak. Punter had a bad day. Big returns allowed on punts and kickoffs.

Big MAC win and you would think BGSU knocks off a team or two with that ball control offense. They have had numerous injuries on defense which helped OUr cause today.

When he doesn't turn it over he ends up with close to 200 yards passing and close to 100 yards rushing every time and wins MAC player of the week.

He might be an even more successful QB here than the Rourke brothers but he won't get much NFL attention. I recall Marshall having a quarterback about 10 years ago named Rakeem Cato. I always see similarities. It is often one read and then street ball. He is really good at street ball but it comes with its risks.

Back home in Cincinnati after the game…I thought we were supposed to be such a physical team? Bowling Green offensive line owned the defensive line and where were the linebackers to make some tackles? Speaking of tackles, continues to be a problem in my opinion. Then again the defensive backs got torched on bombs again. Look like lack of communication by the safeties and corners. Bottom line, I think we need to get a lot better.

As for the kicking game, it’s pretty easy nowadays… Just put the damn ball deep in the end zone.

One other thing I’m not a fan of the opposition band either. However, it’s better than that. Shitty music. They play during the game. Cancel that music and let the bands play.

A win is a win is a win! Not pretty. Kind of a turnover fest.

I like having the opposition band show up and play at halftime. First time a MAC school has brought its band since Marshall was in the conference, I think. It used to be standard practice back in the day. I thought the WVU band was very classy. Totally different style than the 110, but I can be eclectic and enjoy different styles. I agree with another poster who said we stop the crappy music from the PA system and let the bands play!

Not sure the TV announcers knew where they were. They called our team Ohio State and the University of Ohio? WHAT ? Loved the national broadcast, (the second one in three weeks). Now that how to get some PUB.

Was pretty cool seeing a TE lead the team in pass yards this game. Not sure the last time that happened for the Bobcats. As a fan you can't help but notice how well Mason and Bruno have been playing this season. Best TE combo we've had since Kazmarek and Foster. Not too long ago I guess! Metz did a good job recruiting that position group and Obly has stepped right into the roll and got them contributing every game. Really undervalued group on this team I think with all the receivers and Sieh and Parker getting most of the attention.

I've been on the Mason Williams hype train since last year. The dude is an absolute monster. I love how hard he plays and his expectation is to dominate the line of scrimmage against any opponent. Glad to see him get some more balls thrown his way, think we need to continue that.

I have too especially since the move he put on the Miami defender for the TD in the MACCG. That was sweet.

Not if you subscribe to YouTube TV which has as its standard package just about every sports channel known to mankind. Plus some of my other favorites: PBS, AMC, Turner Classic Movies, Smithsonian, the four broadcast networks, et al. I think the tab is $70 monthly.
