Two very similar teams in that both are run first, although we're more balanced. Ohio runs about 62% of the time (528 rushes to 317 passes) while JSU is almost 70% runs (611 to 280). They average 267 ypg on the ground, so if our D holds them closer to our defensive average (96 ypg), it'll be big. They give up rushing (170) about as much as we get (187). The teams have similar passing stats: Ohio 187 ypg on offense and 200 ypg on defense; JSU 177 ypg on offense and 215 ypg on defense.

JSU has a big edge on TDs -- 61 (48 rushing) to Ohio's 46 -- and tunover margin -- Ohio is minus 2 while JSU is plus 9. But Ohio has given up fewer TDs (26 to 38) and has nine more sacks.

As far as I can remember, we’ve not faced anything like this much of a running team with a really good running QB. I think we’ll give up way over our average running yards because of that dual threat QB. We should do okay moving the ball so my expectation would be that it will be a fairly high scoring game, say 31-28, maybe even 38-35. We shall see

I keep seeing that the spread continues to increase from 1.5 to 5.5

Did we ever play there? Wasn't ucf playing at the old citrus bowl during their Mac run? Then built this new place after move to cusa or wherever the eff they are now?

Jacoby Jones might get to watch in person since UCF is done for the year.

Burn.

And honestly, would be cool to see him there supporting.

I still follow him on insta and he regularly reposted stuff about the team, and Parker. He reposted the MAC Champs stuff after they won.

Does he have a bunch of years left now that JUCO has been deemed a different set of eligibility? Hmmmmmm

Let's go Cats. Put a ribbon on this year.

And if we get blown out, can't wait to read on here about how Cromer shouldn't have hired Smith and she botched this process. We should have held out for Ryan Day after OSU fires him next week.

The UCF "bounce house" wasn't opened until 2007. They left the MAC in 2005.

That was an interesting beginning. They need a stop and a return to our bread and butter.

Couple of early thoughts, Orlando looks a lot more inviting than Central Ohio right now. The 110 sounds good so far

Quick notes: Coleman Owen passes Lavon Brazill for single season receiving record and Parker Navarro goes over 1,000 rushing yards on the season on that second touchdown. He also now has 17 touchdowns rushing on the season.

We were discussing whether Parker Navarro should be the quarterback last offseason.

Seems light years ago.

This is the best team we’ve had that I’ve seen.

Coleman Owen now the single season record holder for OU. Incredible stuff.

I'd argue that pre-injuries 2012 was a bit better, but you can make a case for this team. And this team certainly seems to have peaked at a perfect time.

This team is more resilient than any Bobcat team I can recall. They get the most out of their talent.

Probably right. I just can’t get that Miami game out of my mind and it sours the whole season in my mind. I just stood there in Oxford and stared at the field for 15 minutes after the game in disbelief.
