I know we will probably hear from the “He only had one offer crowd” but I like his work ethic and his elusiveness....also says he doesn’t mind the short runs either. With a good weight program I think he can be an AJ or Beau Blankenship type.

Not one mention of former Nebraska coach Frank Solich in the article from the Omaha paper.

I hope he does really well, but I have no idea whether he’s the very selective athlete that the recruiting coordinator is calling for in this class because it’s so small. Most of the guys from Nebraska that we have recruited have been highly rated in the state of Nebraska, not sure about this guy. (He’s not in 247’s top 9 which is all they list)

Interesting. He was mentioned at Safety, but I could see him at SLB. At 6'0" he's on the short side, but he's got the speed and lateral movement.

That linebacker room is getting crowded with athletes. I always think they are trying to recruit Chad Moore. LB may be the deepest spot on the team and they certainly play 3 in most situations.

This class will be about half to 2/3 the size of a normal class. Thus, you'd expect 2-3 DBs, 1-2 LBS, 2-3 DL. That's about what we're seeing. The place this class is heavy is in the interior line on both sides. (pun intended)

Where it is lacking is in defensive ends, and in offensive skill positions, WR, RB, TE, plus they will want another QB before they are done.

Kittrell can scoot, 10.97 is pretty fast.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

My guess is they are hoping he can play strong side and take over for Conner after next season. Same size and speed.

That was my guess above, as well. This last article hinted that he might play nickle. I think, from memory, he's also about the same size/speed as Blake Scipio, another player that they weren't sure where he would end up. Blake, unfortunately, after a fast start, playing as a true Freshman, ended up with a series of injuries.

People don’t understand how hard it is to find a linebacker who can cover slot receivers in the open field. Especially in G5. Which is why they are usually undersized. I will be interested to watch him develop.

To me there isn't a lot of difference between a Safety and an SLB. That's why Ohio has moved a couple guys in recent years from Safety to SLB (Wood, Gullett).

You don't find a lot of guys running in the 10s in the 100 who are also elite throwers in shot and discus. Lots of options on the field for that kind of athlete.

I've seen crazier things happen.
