What I miss is reporting from independent news sources. They generally give a non-spin perspective on practices that aren't closed and least might score a real interview or two. But the Mess is a mess, Arkley has other commitments, and the Post apparently doesn't care.

The Post would rather tell us how racist the OU campus is and how much money is burned via salaries and sports programs.

Oh and also what video games and music we should buy, can't forget those useful opinion pieces.

Let's be realistic: What can anyone determine from monitoring spring practice?

Nothing - it's about marketing not communications.

I get it, cc, but that's not what Pataskala is asking about. We are getting social media posts and video targeted to a younger audience.

He's asking for journalistic analysis of practices. Even in the pros these preseason camp stories are worthless.

It's also good to know who's there and who isn't, and who's progressing and who isn't. Channel 4 had a story last night about a transfer to O$U who got the stripe off his helmet, so he's made the team. That sort of stuff.

So still no info on a Spring Game or Sale? Would love to watch at least a partial scrimmage. The Football program has a down year and it seems it goes into hiding.

So a schedule is too much to ask for? Is there a Spring Game of some kind? Was today a scrimmage?

And an equipment sale?

Some people like to make plans.

April 9?
