Looking at the freshman class at mid season (with a supporting role) seemed to diminish as the season ended leaving uncertainty as next years sophomores. Did a lack of talent or a lack of coaching show up ? YIKES!

Yes. The recruits under Solich always seemed to be lacking in talent, but he was able to take two or three or four each year and raise their skill levels to an all-MAC level. But since his contact with players in his role as analyst was limited last season, that meant the rest of the coaching staff had to create the magic. Unfortunately, we don't have a Harry Potter among the coaching staff.

I think this was meant to be a question about basketball. The same poster asked a similar question in the basketball forum, too.

I'm not sure that we even have Profession Hinkle.
