When I try to watch an ESPN3 game on ESPN+ it says I can't do it.

Is there any hope of seeing this game. I have "Direct Stream" (was "
AT&T Now" until a few days ago)

Are we really playing Duquesne in football? Why not Eastern Nelsonville State?

You should be able to access it using your Direct Stream (is it DirecTV Stream?) username and password. When you click on the event it will ask you to identify your TV provider. Try clicking on DirecTV and give your username and password when asked. If that doesn't work, click on Get a TV Provider and DirecTV Stream shows up on the next menu. Click on it and it should ask for your username and password. Type them in and it should connect. You might have to go through some other hoops on the DirecTV Stream page because it asked me to sign up. Good Luck.

Possibly because there is a road game 5 days later that is 1100 miles away vs a pretty good team. Just guessing at it.

Who is your live TV provider, if you have one?

To access ESPN3, you have to have a subscription to a TV service with ESPN. If you do, you can sign into your TV service to watch ESPN3. Having a subscription to ESPN+ has no bearing on watching things that are on ESPN3 (and vise versa).

I don't see a line on this game yet. That isn't surprising. FBS vs. FBS lines always arrive first. But I'll bey we are only about a 23 or so point favorite after losing at home by 20 points.

The good news for Duquesne is they were 4-0 last Spring before losing one...

The bad news is they didn't play anybody you heard of.

Since they lost badly to TCU who is good, a 20 point point spread in this game would be reasonable.

Direct Stream is a live provider like Hulu, YouTube TV, etc.

If you had AT&T Now, it's now called DirecTV Stream: https://www.atttvnow.com /

There's a portal for that after clicking on "Get a TV Provider" so you should be able to use your DirecTV Stream account username and password to access ESPN3.

Duquesne is so banged up they got TCU to agree to play 12 minutes quarters in the second half yesterday. They only threw 12 passes in a game they lost by 42. Also, Joe Mischler is hurt and doesn't look like he will play, just in case the "transfer guy comes back to haunt the 'Cats" vibe worries you.

So too do most if not all SEC teams.

This week alone Duke, Wake, NWern, Auburn, Mich St, Ga Tech, Bama, Clemson, WVU, Wash St, K-State, Baylor, Tx Tech, Okla, L'ville, Ole Miss, Indiana, Maryland, FSU, and LSU all are scheduled to play teams from the other D1 subdivision.

It really doesn’t matter what all the other schools are doing, Is it good for us? I think we should play as tough a schedule as we can.

Are you serious? This coming from a university that plays Capital, Heidelberg, Rio, Wilbenforce and some others in hoops. This non league schedule is challenging.

We shouldn’t be playing those games, either.

Where have you been? We do this every single year. It's usually an automatic W to get bowl eligible.

The formula OU has had the last decade or so has been:

FCS home

Power 5 away money game

home/home series with a comparable G5

fill in blank with a really good G5 or winnable Power 5, home or away depending on the schedule to get us 6 home games.
