2020 Roster

The first roster is out.

Some new names including early enrollees like QB Harris....who is not #1 but # 10.

Marlin Washington a WR from Quincy U....small college that plays schools like Central State.

Wade Sheets a Convoy Crestview WR and KR who apparently had signed with Air Force.

Best news might be that Denzel Daxson is still on the roster.

I see Wilbon is on the roster as well.

Daxon and Wilbon (although very high on Tuggle and Allison) listed On roster puts me in an even better frame of mind for 2020 FB. Hope they prove to be as good as expected. New QBs performing at a decent level will be the major factor though.

That is why recruiting rankings are stupid. Classes come in and how many of them redshirt to split the class up? I would like someone to look at classes by redshirt plus true freshmen. For example, I believe Keye Thompson was a redshirt freshman for us. As was Allison. Those guys would have made our true freshman class look better. Daxon will not count in next year's freshman class obviously but should be counted as a "first year recruit." Frank has made his money on developing guys...not high school potential. Rourke had ONE offer other than us. Excited for next year as long as we have a quarterback who can pass for 2,000 yards with more TD than INT and run for 5 to 10 scores. I am good with that.

I think Harris will eventually get us our MAC Title in 2021 or 2022.
