It's a mystery why Ohio State is so restrictive. There at St. John Arena I asked Geoff Carlston if he could help out---but he couldn't. He attested to my character, but couldn't change the decision of the Media and Public Relations office. And the band! They denied the band.We were all a bit miffed. Regarding the videoing of games by Match Point Ohio, they have never been denied before by any school, including Penn State, Michigan (Go Blue), Pitt., Kentucky, Louisville, Dayton, Xavier, and a host of MAC schools. p.s. Geoff Carlston may be the only coach who has ever been on this message board, when he sent farewells and best wishes when he was leaving. LOL, not being an OSU Apologist, just someone who understands what home court advantage is and how you help protect it. Personally, I am not a fan of OSU or their VB coach in any manner, however, when faced with silly criticism I will gladly defend both, even if defending the later makes my stomach churn just a bit.
