Maybe the coach was intimidated by an adult ref. I don't know what it's like in AAU b-ball leagues but any coach who acted like this one did would've been gone in a heartbeat from the youth baseball leagues I've been involved in. We will get by. Saw a parent come out of the stands, walk onto the court and take a swing at a ref in Bowie, MD and they didn't even make him leave the building much less arrest him. It’s long story, but he richly deserved it. After the season he got his comeuppance when my daughter and wife at separate times confronted him about his displaceable behavior.
