Agree, get to the game on Wednesday evening. I wonder how many of these same people are complaining about the basketball team playing Rio Grande and Heidelberg and paying for those season tickets.

Looking at the West side - can you believe Central has already played 10 games while the rest of the league has played eight or nine?

I only know Toledo's starting quarterback is hurt and I don't know if he'll return. I don't even know his name, to be honest. But I hope someone else takes out Toledo and put them in the ground for good so that even if they figure some things out, their chances are toast. Should we win the East, I like our chances against anyone else in the West.

Is it weird that I don't want to play Central...like at all? Frank is cursed against that team (1-8 by my count).

I'm in. Making the drive Weds afternoon with some buds. Besides, the weather isn't going to be that bad anyway - supposed to be low 40s and dry, can't really beat that for a November night (especially compared to senior night vs. NIU a few years ago).

Weather and national stage remind me of the 2011 Temple game. Hoping that the turnout will be as good or better. I went to that one and had a great time! Just need to dress for it - or go shirtless and paint yourself (if you're 20 and have 10 Natty Lights in your belly)

This is WAY to big a game to let a little chilly weather drive you off. I totally get work commitments, and maybe if it was raining sideways in the low 40s...

I also thought about that Temple game and think this could be much like that one. I have a few relatives from southeast Ohio who don't go to games very much at all but have tickets, so I hope that is true of a lot of people. My wife and I are planning to make the 2 1/2 hour trip after work and will get back really late and I'll have to be to work at 7 a.m. but I think it will be worth it.

We need to win out and we need Miami to lose twice.

We're toast.

See you all at the Camellia Bowl against um, Arkansas State. That sounds about right.

Ohio will be lucky to win two of the next three. I’m beginning to think this may be the year we don’t go bowling.

Yep. I think the wheels will come all the way off. They are in the middle of the pack in the worst division in football. Not bowling is probably for the best.

The only drama left is whether Frank walks away on this note.

I find it hard to believe he steps down with his worst season in a decade.

I don't think he'll leave ... and that keeps Ohio and it's fans in an incredibly awkward spot. You CANNOT fire him ... and I think it's been proven that they will not get over the hump with him at the helm.

So we're perpetually stuck in this spot until he determines it's time.

He was 6-6 with no bowl in 2014. With better luck we might beat WMU next week and finish with Akron & BG who are not very good. Then a bowl game with time to rest up. 8-5 if Ohio can get there is leaving on a decent note. Coaches are more inclined to stay when they believe they can win and without Rourke this is a bad team.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

All of this is true. I can't see the university allowing anything short of a graceful retirement. Godspeed to our new AD as she faces this real-world challenge.

Come on man, "out of the race???" Ohio is nowhere near out of the race. Akron is out of the race. EMU is out of the race. But Ohio is right in the thick of it. WMU will come to Athens next week as a team that hasn't won a road game all season long. Not one. After that, it's two guaranteed wins for Ohio vs BG and Akron. As for Miami, they have BG next week, but keep in mind, they lost to BG the last time they hosted them in Oxford when BG was equally as bad as it is now, and BG also beat Toledo this year. Remember, Miami doesn't own BG like Ohio does. I'll chalk Akron up as a win for Miami already, but Ball State hosts Miami after that and could easily beat Miami in that game too. The point being, Ohio is not out of the race whatsoever. It simply doesn't control its own dynasty right now, that's all. Ohio just needs to win, and it will, and get a little help, which it could. This thing is far from over.

Lucky??? Wanna make a wager on both the BG and Akron games then? I'm more than happy to take that easy money.

Anything is possible, but the above is coming from someone who claimed we wouldn’t lose to an East team and has already booked his Detroit room. I hope he’s right.

This poster also guaranteed a MAC Championship in 2018 as well, just FWIW.

Perhaps there will be a role reversal of 2010! Bobcats thrump Miami on their homecoming. Bobcats put themselves in the drivers seat for the MAC east only to forget to show up against Kent on day after turkey day. Miami ran the table with a back up QB and goes to Detroit.

This season Miami now in the driver seat and ultimately loses the East to the team they beat during the regular season.

Stranger things have happened.

Run the table Bobcats! And we'll get by with a little help from our friends.
