Have a nice day whoever you are and tell mom to get me more meatloaf.

My mom died on 9/11.

I'm not suggesting that at all. I'm merely saying that it is possible that Lunden could end up on the court at the 2. He's a good player, and Preston was obviously effective at the point, while limiting turnovers. My line of thinking was simply that if Preston and McDay prove to be two of the best guards, one could end up playing the 2 to get on the floor more often.

By the looks of the recruiting, Boals is following the Buffalo route of multiple ball handlers and interchangeable players on the court at the same time. That is a good thing.

Agreed. Shockingly enough, I agree with you. 😂

It's my fan mantra, but I have always believed that good guards win games in March. Having a bunch of capable guards is almost always a good thing.

You don't look to see who made a post? Then how do you know where they live?

Did we really go the whole weekend with nobody finding out who was on campus with the staff?

Perhaps something can be found out at the final Caravan in Athens tonight?

Looks like you need to relocate to Athens so we all have a reliable source. ;)

Ha...exactly. So was it confirmed that there was even a recruit on campus?

Well, we have a basketball coach you can still dunk to match our football coach who can still do something like 100 pushups. Lead by example, I always say! ;-)

I recall a video of TOS shooting layups on the Convo floor. Anyone else know what I'm thinking of?

Yes, I believe when we still hosted interview videos on this site (Rollie Merriman?). In an interview with one of the players, TOS missed like three straight layups in the background

Legit one of my favorite things in my Bobcat fandom. Brother AIRBALLED one. And I 100% believe he intentionally went and shot in front of the camera.

There's no way that rim is at 10 feet when coach dunks. I'd guess closer to 9 ft, right? Look at how close the net is to the guy he dunks on.

That rim is set at 9’ in the video, can tell by looking at the standard. Being only 9’ would disqualify Coach from the week night geriatric basketball games at the local middle school.

"Dunked over" feels rather generous.

I mentioned the TOS video just a couple weeks ago in the Caris LaVert thread - one of my all-time favorite TOS memories (if you can call it that).

GraffZ06 wrote:
Anyone remember the video clip - not even sure it was on YouTube - could have just been a video on ohiobobcats.com - where TOS was shooting layups after practice in the background...and he missed like 5 in a row, and even air-balled one or two? That my friends was high quality entertainment. I remember laughing so hard at that.

While I did see a couple of short clips of (quote) "highlights" he had back in high school, I didn't want to rule out that there may have been some new 6-10/180 walk-on in the gym that day.

Stupid question time: is Connor Murrell still growing? Check out the pics Boals posted recently and look at how big he is compared to his teammates.

https://twitter.com/OhioMBasketball/status/11515847616993...

I saw him recently out in town and when he walked by, my first thought was "Da*n he's a lot taller than I thought he was."

In those pics with the team, he looks every bit as tall as BVP and nearly as tall as Springs.
