Stan coached the Bobcat track and field team in the 60s and early 70s before going on to Tennessee, Texas and coaching the U.S. Olympic team in 1988. He had been in hospice care in Austin, TX

Interesting obit in the Washington Post with a fair bit about Ohio and Huntsman's reaction to Track being dropped.
