I remember being surprised when ASU hired Edwards. He hadn't distinguished himself as an NFL head coach. Moments ago, to check the accuracy of my memory, I googled Edwards. The NBA and NFL are terrible at this. If there's one thing you can say about college football, they at least try not to dip into this well very much and hire up and comers from the G5 or assistants on a championship staff.
