I will always remember that, back before AJ had even earned his scholarship, that sneaky Solich swapped numbers on AJ and insisted that AJ wear his old number, 45. The running back on last year's practice squad (Martez Carter) was also released. That leaves 5 running backs. Alvin Kamara is the projected starter, and Latavius Murray is the projected backup. That leaves two rookies, AJ and Devine Ozigbo, plus last year's number 3 back Dwayne Washington. From those final three, one will make the team, one will make the practice team, and one will be cut. Unfortunately it did not result in him being signed. Hopefully he will still get a shot! The guy can play - just needs a chance and the right fit.
