Dropping the game to the Red chickens was devastating. But anything can happen in the MAC. Buffs and Redchickens can lose the last two. We had a big injury to Dorian the previous year. Not wishing an injury on any player by the way. Just stating we have two games left and anything can happen. Win them both and lets see how the other teams play out.

This is only chance.

Ohio MUST beat Buffalo and Akron
Buffalo MUST lose to Ohio and BG
Miami MUST lose at least once to NIU or Ball

Ohio Buffalo will be a good game. NIU beating Miami seems possible/likely. The real hangup is the Buffalo/BG game. We need some sort of miracle there.

It's a bullish week with this game and the MBB team facing USF in Jamaica on Friday.

Apparently the opposite was happening. Bets must have been coming in on Ohio as an underdog and so the line was adjusted to make Ohio the favorite to encourage betting instead on Buffalo. Those betting on Buffalo can win the bet even if Buffalo loses by 1 or 2 points.

I see we are 2.5pt. favorite on the USA Today site. No spread listed on the ESPN site.

The betting line surprises me. I think Buffalo will win this game going away.

This reeks of a "meaningless" Ohio big win.

Just like Toledo last year.

Just enough to be "we are probably the best team in the MAC, but we continue to trip and fall all over ourselves when it counts so we once again won't play for a league title"

I feel like adopting some hashtags in my signature #MACChampionshipOrBustForFrankBall. Seems fitting for some reason. ;)

Ohio cames out flat and should have minored in real estate for all the property they're going to sell tonight:

Buffalo 49
Ohio 17

The Bobcats get a couple of stops and win 45-31. Rourke has a big game and Dylan Connor and Croutch make some big plays, go Cats

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

And hopefully they do again. I like what Doc Bobcat has to say, "Ohio shouldn't win, so it will". Perfect!!

Hope this doesn't jinx us but we're 10-1 at home vs Buffalo. The only loss was in 2008 when we finished 4-8.

At this point, we can't control whether this win will be "meaningless" or not, or whether it will be "Just like Toledo last year", the Bobcats just need to knock the crap out of these guys and prove between the two teams who is better. Bunker mentality? Maybe...but I don't care...

Here's hoping the Buffalo secondary has recurring nightmares of AJ and Maleek coming at them with a full head of steam...

Jason reported that there was a players only meeting this past weekend.
Hopefully they are all focused in on this game and come out aggressive and motivated to play some real physical football.

The coaches do think like us lol. They described Rourke’s Juco highlights just as we did. Buckner has some speed, he must have been injured for most of the year because he looks good. AJ is looking good as well, go Cats
