Bobcats win all 3 this weekend, postponed game from Friday to be made up this afternoon. Wish I lived in Athens / could go.

Taking care of business against the bottom dweller Akron. Both J Tate & B Roder were not used over the weekend, I assume 1 of them is starting today and not sure if the other may have an injury? Boncal had his 2nd straight solid start.

Lineup has been pretty steady throughout, with the exception of Baker who is batting .184. The top 6 of the lineup all seem to give good at bats.

Finishing the sweep today puts us a full 4 games up from 5th place and in a really good position to make the tourney. Even if we get swept at Ball State we should control our own destiny at home against WMU to finish the regular season.

Huge, would be nice to add another one today for icing on the cake and some more cushion over the 5 seed.

11-5 win today for the sweep. Ohio is 16-12 in the MAC, 3 games ahead of 5th-place Eastern Michigan at 15-17, plus a potential tiebreaker against the Eagles because Ohio won three of four when they played. Ohio is essentially tied for third with Toledo, which is 18-14. That's a pretty good cushion with eight games to go, but Ball State this coming weekend will be a very difficult series.

Eastern is our biggest threat, but luckily they have the other top team this weekend, Central Michigan. Next closest threat Miami...finishes with Ball State. If we can steal one BSU game we will be sitting VERY good going into the final weekend.

Shout out to Coach Moore, he's done a solid job as a first year head coach. Battled through some adversity off the field and didn't let the incident leak into the team's play on the field.

Also wanted to point out that the team surpassed their crowdfunding campaign goal and hit 120%.

All they need is a seat at the table and we've seen that play out positively for the Cats in year's past.
