Same story for Mitch as it's been his entire professional career: Trying to make up for a lack of power with a keen eye at the plate, keeping Ks down and BBs up, and using his better than average speed. This is a make or break year in some respects. After this season, the Tribe must decide whether to place Mitch on the 40 man roster or risk losing him in the Rule 5 draft. On the season he is batting .239 with just 1 HR (and just 5 extra base hits). An OPS of .657 is a big dropoff from his previous seasons. He slumped a lot in late June but has picked it up again. Pretty up-and-down season. He had only one hit in his last seven games.
