Agreed, but this team deserves our support too. I have always been surprised too that the Wrestling Program, which is a personal favorite of mine, doesn't get more support from fans here at Ohio University. We have some pretty outstanding wrestlers on the team and they held their own against Michigan State.

Real nice of OSU to run the full court press the entire first half and twist the proverbial knife.

For any Dayton-area Bobcats that were considering going to the game at Wright State on Sunday 11/24, that game is now at 7 PM (originally scheduled for 2:00, but I'm assuming they moved it because WSU is hosting the Horizon League volleyball championship at that time)

It's tough to hold an educated opinion on the state of the program right now when so little information is out there. But the product on the court just is not good. It's Bailey Tabeling trying to do everything when she's best as a 3 and D player, Kennedi Watkins doing well when she's healthy enough to play, and not a lot else positive; role players being asked to do more and not producing a lot. It's hard for a MAC team without two conference selections to compete, but it seems like literally every year the team is injured either halfway through the year, or now, before the season ever even got going. It's got to be frustrating for the coaches and players but also as a fan. Not in a good place right now.

This program hit that decline quite awhile ago.

Bobcats beat Ohio Christian College 97-37. This may have been worse than the UC-Clermont debacle with the Men's team. The Trailblazers go 15 for 63 from the field with 27 turnovers. It's a setback for them following the excitement and buzz of their win over the West Virginia Institute of Technology.

The quality of the opponent notwithstanding, GiGi Bower looked comfortable running the point and that is a positive to take.

UC Clermont is laughable. Why does Ohio even schedule teams that are playing Hocking College?

Best game the ladies have played all season. Played toe-to-toe with now 9-2 Butler (who has already beaten national power Indiana) for all but the last couple of minutes.

As pointless as those games like Ohio Christian seem to be, it was a moment to see someone unheralded break out, and that was freshman Gigi Bower, who translated her more than 20 points in that game to providing a couple of important sparks today.

Aliah McWhorter returned from injury today...and got hurt again. Coach Boldon used a seven-player rotation today for the entire game and is now down a player from that.

Monica Williams suffered a bad injury against Ohio Christian and is done for the season.

If it's not the injuries killing this team, it's the passing and the lack of rebounding. But the best game of the season so far, in spite of all of that. They were locked in defensively. Just too many second, third, fourth, and fifth chances today. The second half especially, the ladies had Butler unable to do much of anything offensively. And it just didn't matter. They would throw up bad shot after bad shot, brick after brick, and keep getting the rebound until they scored. It was hard to watch.

No games in the Convo until New Year's. At St. Louis, UIC, and Georgia in the mean time.

This program has had a long string of setbacks due to injuries and talent poaching by other schools. Hard to blame that on Boldon.

Jaya McClure
Anyssa Jones
Aliah McWhorter
Monica Williams
Kiersten Cashell
Emma Barnett
Olivia Rinard
Cassidy Lafler

Two walk-ons in there, but also most of a starting lineup, including the best returning player.

Jesus Christ. This program, man...

Any besides Williams considered long term or done for the year?

Talk about a stretch of bad luck. I hope they all heal and make it back to the court. I feel for this team.

Maybe Sonny Sano is to blame?!

It does make you wonder what is up? Is it bad luck? Something in the water? Poor conditioning? I have no clue, just seems odd to keep losing so many players.

Up to 5 losses by more than 30. The ability to turn the ball over is prolific.

MAC play starts Wednesday and may be 1 of the winnable games on the season. Right now a 2-16 or so MAC record doesn't seem out of question to me.

Looking at the stats:

Shooting 35.6% from the field, have taken more 3pt shots than 2pt. Shooting a blistering .256% from 3pt. As a team from the FT only 64%. All while being out rebounded by 13 boards a game.
