I don't think I've seen this topic on here yet, but if I missed it, I apologize. I saw some of the alums applied for a team in The Basketball Tournament (TBT) this summer in Columbus.

I believe their team getting accepted depends on fan support so I figured I should bring it up on here, and maybe it will all work out with all of the Bobcat Attack connections.

I'm definitely excited. I saw Coop and Keely play in it 2 years ago (just before Cooper got pregnant).

As a follow up, if you're not familiar with the TBT, they have some time still to put together a roster (compared to what is currently on the TBT website). I've heard they are also targeting Cooper, N'Dour, and Tillman. Not exactly sure on how reputable of a source. But there's obviously a handful of guys in the last 10 years or so that could make up a really fun squad to watch.

Kenny Brown was a Grad Assistant or something along the lines of that during the Groce era

Here is the Twitter link I previously mentioned. I think Kenny Brown may just be a Booster or GM or something along those lines, because the Twitter page lists none other than Jaaron Simmons as head coach. Hmmmmm.

Ohio 1804 is a 14 seed in the Columbus regional. They open with the Xavier alumni team on July 23rd. Buffalos alumni team and the mid American unity team are in the same bracket.

Just turned on the MAC team vs the OSU team (which BTW, how is Ron Lewis on the MAC team but Julian Mavunga is on the OSU team). Finally getting the PG battle we always wanted, Coop vs Craft. In the first minute of the second quarter, Coop had three steals.

Good to see DJ back on the floor. Dakich mentioned that he is the only player in the history of college basketball to record 2,000 points, 900 assists, 600 rebounds and 300 steals in a career. Hard to believe that this is still the case eight years after his college days were over.

They lost, but man, Coop is still Coop. No one in our history, not even Preston, runs a more exciting fast break.
