Pretty good chance multiple agents have reached out to him this week with, "we need to get you drafted...." (even though he knows who he would sign with if he chooses to stay in draft). Mock drafts are always heavily influenced by the professional need for sportswriters to justify their existence and to make people think that they actually know what they're talking about. If he leaves though, we do have Sears who could have started for many of the teams in the MAC as a freshman and been an All-MAC performer. I wouldn't mind a starting lineup of Sears, McDay, Roderick, Wilson and BVP with Brown and Carter as the top backups and IJ and Granger busting heads inside. I hope Towns improves over the offseason and if Preston leaves we definitely could use another wing from the transfer portal.
