Rather than fire Akron up with the sound boos, we want to greet them with dead silence. So every time Akron comes onto the field (warmups, pregame, after halftime) make NO NOISE! Shortly after when OHIO comes out, go crazy. This will hopefully make a cool sound effect from nothing to eruption in just a few seconds. The O Zone does have listserv, but I'm not sure how effective it is.  I am a member of the O Zone, former VP, and have never received an O Zone email even though I know for a fact they are out there. Honestly, the average O Zoner isn't going to open the emails the O Zone sends.  I cannot tell you the amount of email I get from student organizations that I completely ignore. I've seen crazier things happen.
