Ugh. Just ugh. I expected us to have less students tonight in our section but did not expect half the section to be empty - what really frustrated me was many students decided to sit in the upper section and not come down to the bleachers. We promoted and hyped up this game for the week and was super super disappointed with the result. I was apart of a group of me, my board and a few others that were standing the whole game - we had a lot of fun bantering with a few Beefs players during warmups and Estis even came over to peek at our dirtsheets! The Brazilians carried us - although we had to work hard to keep them quiet during free throws. So cool Dwight came up to celebrate with them! Overall - lesson learned and we are going to look at more creative ways to attract students.

Cellis - great to meet you at the game. Hopefully we can come up with some productive solutions...

What - If ANYTHING - Is OHIO Athletics and/or OHIO University in general doing at all to support/promote students participations at events????? I am seeing Nothing...

Wanna check out a student section? Turn on ESPNU tonight at 11 for a Grand Canyon U. home game.

Great to meet you too RS! Mostly it revolves around giveaways and club nights such as what they are doing tonight with ESports night. But, I have received some word from AD they are interested in bringing back events such as Bobcat Blackout and Green Fever night to further draw in the student crowd. But I think also part of it is team performance and the atmosphere we create during gameday.
