247sports is showing Denzel Daxon as a commit.. Any confirmation of this? Would be a huge get.

So it appears that no one in this class was poached at the last minute. And also no last minute non-qualifiers?

Has anyone seen info on early enrollments who will be in for spring ball?
The only one I heard so far is DT Denzel Daxon is reportedly enrolling in January 2019.

Will there be signing day reception this week?
Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Not sure, but I think they'll still hold that after the regular signing day in February.

Adding JUCO OL Gary Hoover is encouraging. JUCO OL lately have been Cooper, Anderson, Hayes and now Hoover. If Mr. Hoover can contribute the mean of what Cooper, Anderson and Hayes have contributed Ohio will have insurance against injury.
Hoover will be good insurance at LT.

He and Grimes or even Pleasant should be able to handle it.

If Tyson is a preferred walkon, I think Ohio still has a couple scholarships they can give this Spring, those being the ones that were held by Cherry and Maxwell. Of course, they might be given to walkons as well. Several walkons are expected to be on the 2-deep next fall, including Marlin Brooks, Jarren Hampton, DL Knock, Austin Clack, and Nick Sink, and some of these will be starters.
