I will never understand why when you are inside the 2 with a 1st and goal you don't have QB up under center. Anyone could get the necessary yard or two in 4 tries.
Unless you're trying to sneak it, there's no advantage. QB has better visibility from the shotgun and handoff would be in similar spot.

If you want to argue for a qb sneak there, I'd listen, but Buffalo is abusing us on both lines of scrimmage so far.

That was one of the ugliest 1st and 2nd quarters that I have seen out of Ohio Football since the 1980's. We look like boys playing men. Ouch.

And they have only 7 points. I’ve seen much worse.

Four defenders near the ball someone had to be wide open.

I believe it was Cam Odom on the crossing route who was wide open

That's at least twice Pleasants has been smoked and Rourke has paid.

Ugly, but a win against the team in the East I was most worried about.

So many crazy plays. Leipold calling timeout. Zervos off the crossbar. Maybe this was our stumbling block this year, but we won it?

They certainly didn't quit today. Sometimes a game like that can turn the season. Defense stepped up 2nd half, O-line just enough.

I agree. The defensive front grew a lot today. Now the offensive line needs to do the same. Ohio's going to still have a rough time of it if Rourke is sacked 3x a game and the running game only averages 4.0 a carry. They did play well in OT, and got the job done.

Hoping Allison's confidence gets a spike from today's game going forward.

I guess Zervos' maximum range for field goals into the wind is 52 7/8 yards.

It wasn’t easy....but as my Ph.D. class Professor used to say....no pain no gain.

OUr D seems to have that typical bend but no break mentality....much better tackling today.

Agree. I'm hoping this is the season changer.
