For my 42 years of marriage, the secret is to do things together. If she wants to shop you go shopping with her, if she goes to the park you go to
the park with her, and if she mops the floor you mop up the floor with her!

Huge. Now let’s hope it sticks unlike Shay Taylor last year.

I’m still shocked by that to this day. Figured he’d stick it out as a staying relatively close-to-home thing.

If I remember correctly, Shay announced he was coming back during the Winter transfer window and then announced he was transferring in the Spring window. With there no longer being a Spring window, I’d say this is more likely to stick unless a major NIL offer comes through

We have a few visits coming up soon, one being Victor Rosa, RB, UConn. Has 1,400+ career yards rushing and 17 career rush TDs.

Oh yeah! Victor Rosa was one of those guys I kinda had an eye on as a RB addition. In fact, I see a few UConn players in the portal I'd kinda like to see become Bobcats.

Leaders for Chase Hendricks appear to be California and Purdue, as he is visiting both.

No. It will be interesting to see if/how many of our guys migrate south to Charlotte.

I hope they both pay well, because those are two ugly choices looking at next years schedule. Purdue might win 2-4 games, Cal 4 or 5 with god awful travel.

This is true. If he ends up at either of these he is admitting he does not care about winning. He cares only about money. He has earned it but dude, these teams are awful.

We said the same thing when Kurtis Rourke went to Indiana. Seems like teams can flip from bad to good within a single off-season now.

Players leave Ohio for bad reasons, but come to Ohio for his reasons. It's pretty amazing how universally true that is, and how it only applies to us, out of every school in the country.

We're blessed to be OU fans.

California went 7-5 during the regular season starting a highly touted true freshman QB who is coming back next year. Wouldn’t say that they’re a terrible team or spot for a wide receiver to get good exposure playing in the ACC.

If social media is to be believed he has had some sort of interest from a ton of teams including Alabama. I’m sure different opportunities will open as other portal recruits commit.

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/articles/college-football-br...
From the article as this says it all:

"The transfer portal is turning the smaller "Group of Five" (G5) schools essentially into farm system feeder teams for the "Power Four" (SEC, Big Ten, ACC, Big 12).

Now a smaller program like Coastal Carolina or North Texas spends time and resources developing a player into a star, then a big budget school can poach them. The allure of a massive NIL offer makes jumping schools too enticing to resist.

"Several elite quarterbacks have already posted multi-million NIL valuations with reported figures around $2M–$2.5M for names like Sam Leavitt ($2.1 million), Brendan Sorsby ($2.4 million), and Dylan Raiola ($2.5 million)." (Sports Illustrated)

Of course, this furthers the gap between the large and small programs when it comes to competing for championships."

In other words, create new subdivisions in the 2030s and be done with it.

My guess is he's waiting on a NCAA ruling for another year of eligibility. Looking at his career stats, I think it’s a bit of a longshot, but I'm not sure how the NCAA is interpreting the JUCO thing. If he gets it, I'm sure there's a possibility of the portal.
