I was not able to watch the game today but I was able to catch most of the first half and chunks of the second half with Russ and Rob. They said that the Cats had heated benches for the game. At halftime they were all unplugged or removed by the coaches. Did anyone else catch this story?
I was at the game. Yes the benches were unhooked and removed at halftime. The jackets were also removed at half
This is an interesting nugget. So the coaches must have thought the players were being a bunch of weak pansies more worried about their space heater than winning a game? I like it. Correlation does not equal causation but seems like it may have worked.
That feels like a Spense move, not an Albin move.

Glad someone on that sideline was as angry watching as we were.
Hate to tell you, but it was an Albin move.
Since it came from you, I doubt it even more.
I agree with BTC based on the actions/hand motions of Albin before the removal of the benches. Just before half it looked like Albin was having a "heated" conservation with another coach/staff member. During the conservation Albin pointed to the players on the bench and made the get them up and get them out gesture. The other coach (couldn't tell who he was) got the players up and the equipment staff started to remove the benches.

Can't love this enough. These things matter more than any of us ever realize. A group of 18-23 year olds absolutely need a fire lit under their ass from time to time.
