I would not mind seeing him again. He plays tough and to win. The effort always reminds me of Austen Everson. Not the same QBs but that effort was amazing. Not always pretty either but they left it on the field.

After listening to Smith's press conference, I have good vibes about Navarro returning next year.

I thought that Smith ended his discussion about Navarro with something like Best wishes or whatever, sounds to me like he’s not staying but maybe I heard what he said wrong. I may listen again.

I heard him say, something like "I'm not going to speak for Parker" and "we're excited for him"...I took that to mean that Coach Smith is acknowledging that it's PN's decision to make when he chooses to make it.

If ONE year, I think he's back in Athens 110%

If this magical SECOND year has appeared... I'm not so sure, and I bet he's not either.

UCF would be stupid not to try to get him back.

Side Note: That 2020 UCF Squad had Josh Heupel and Dillon Gabriel.. wow.

I also took Smith's comments positively, but I could see how others may have took them as the opposite. It seemed to me like Smith already knew Parker's destiny, and I doubt Parker would have told his coach he was NOT coming back before playing the bowl game.

Coaching changes aside, do we know where we land with Navarro for next season?

We sure do.
