Totally helmet-to-helmet, and it wasn't called. Ugh.

That was targeting and pass interference on the same play. Follow that with an uncalled PI on the last offensive play. I don't know what I hate more, the officiating or the horribly one-sided announcers.

Ok, enough doom and gloom. If not for that blocked punt, it would be a one score game. Come out in the second half and get a TD. And defense needs to step the hell up and get a stop.

Positives - Parker/really most of the offense other than some rough snaps and the drop by Rodarte, plus no first half injuries, Dellenbach isn’t a disaster.

Negatives - the rest of special teams and defense. With all the turnover on the D-Line and at linebacker that makes sense though. I expect it will improve over time like the whole team did last season.

Moral victory #1 - we get the ball to start the second half

Moral victory #2 - all the computer rankings say Rutgers is better then WVU

After all the issues in the 1st Half, it's only a 14-point deficit. 2 TDs. It could be much worse.

If this defense can just step up a bit, this offense can lead us places.

This version of Chase Hendricks is the guy I’ve been waiting to see since we recruited him.
