All this praise is rewarded with 2 bricks at the line followed by moving pick negating Sheldon 3. The debate returns?
You’re trying way too hard.

Banks, in his 5th season, has never averaged more than 8.5 ppg for a season. Ohio has no answer for him tonight.

We are probably gonna give up about 80 points tonight. I think this team is gonna have to play some zone sometime this year.

Interesting to sit Clayton from the 11 minute mark to the 5 minute mark.

I know Reef is out tonight, but I can’t tell how good we are after 3 games.

He hasn't done anything really. Typical big game AJC numbers

Our strategy on defense sucks. We are horrible man-to-man coverage. We try to double and leave guys wide open.

Who first said in the preseason that Clayton was on an NBA draft board? Was it Boals or an announcer? I can’t remember.

Talk about a disappointing start to the season. It doesn't mean much at this point in time but they certainly aren't playing like a team considered to be the overwhelming preseason MAC favorites.

Said this last year, and still think if getting your shot blocked is a stat, EJ would lead the nation. He just can't get these shots off at this level. Maybe in high school, but not DI hoops.

We aren't having bad shooting numbers. They just can't miss. I doubt they'll have another shooting performance like this all season.

I guess I should have said 90 not just 80. They will if they play a team that plays defense like we do.

They’re not missing their open looks.
Its good to get tested early as long as they make adjustments and improve when it counts.

Down 7 around the 5 minute mark and AJC misses the front end of 1-and-1. Boser immediately answers with a 3. AJC makes both foul shots and ohio would be down 5. Instead they were down 10. AJC misses shot at the rim on ohio's next possession.

I have said this multiple times. Kids nowadays can shoot the three very very well. If they’re open, they’re gonna knock them down. They’ve been open. Our man defense sucks.

Not to mention, he missed the shot at the rim against someone who is 7 inches shorter

Illinois State is well coached. Not understanding Boals' substitution patterns this year.

Bad combination of them being unconscious from 3 and bad perimeter defense on our part.

Paveletzke on the bench at crunch time. Oh wait, I might be told to "go outside".

We need to play much better defensively. Gave up way too many open looks. Most teams won't shoot at the level Illinois State did tonight but OU could've won if they executed a little bit better.

Wow, only eight assists. Maybe too much dribbling on offense?

I hope boals is figuring out which eight guys he’s gonna play with when mid-American conference play comes around because there’s just no rhythm with all the substitutes we make.
