CJ Hankins is a big school LB who was recruited early on by the Buckeyes. He never grew past 5’11 and it was said Day wanted him longer. He could be a immediate force at Ohio. He has transferred after his freshman year to find more of a football school where fans really love their team. I’d like to think OU falls in line. CJ left St. Edward HS as the All-Time leading tackler with over 300. I could not help but think during the Rose Bowl he outplayed Eichenberg as a Soph in the playoffs, then sent Miyan Williams to the locker room in the 2nd Qtr vs Winton Woods. As many Eagle Alums are, we are rooting for CJ. He has a great story and is one of those players who just plays, and has beat up on top players. He has that humble dog in him with elite insticts so lets hope Faanes makes it happen. Hankins will not be our tallest backer, but he will be out best.

Apparently he posted on his Instagram he's an Ohio Bobcat. 1st Team All Ohio, St Eds all-time leading tackler. Transfer from Brown with 4 yrs eligibility.

The more players we can get out of the Ed's program, the better.
