If you could play a home and home against 1 team from the Power 5 and 1 Military school in the next 3 years who would you choose and why?

ACC - Georgia Tech. Downtown ATL is awesome. Increase recruiting footing in GA.

Big Ten - Nebraska. Frank homecoming and revenge tour.

BIG12 - WVU. Close and game atmosphere would awesome.

PAC - Stanford. A hard nose game.

SEC - Vanderbilt. Good destination and a battle of the coach vs assistant.

Military - Navy. Ton of respect for their coach. Game would be slow and full of ground and pound though.

My choices would be:

1. WVU, closeness, as you say, and perhaps the development of another rivalry, or maybe renewing the rivalry, since WVU last visited Athens in 1897 -- and lost!

1. Navy, need you ask! I'd love the return trip to Annapolis, the city of my earliest childhood memories.

We have had several chances to play Navy, turned them all down.

If you could play a home and home against 1 team from the Power 5 and 1 Military school in the next 3 years who would you choose and why?

ACC:
1. Clemson-Wanna see Death Valley once before I die
2. Virginia Tech- Very drivable game along with Enter Sandman
3. North Carolina- Wish they could do a package game in November with basketball, would be incredible if schools could figure out how to do non-league games like this.

Big Ten:
1. Nebraska- Solid reasoning already explained above
2. Michigan- Gamedays in Ann Arbor are a lot of fun, along with the craft beer choices
3. Indiana- Easy drive, winnable game, solid bars, plus personal fan.

BIG12
1. WVU-No question.....the Moonshine Trophy should be a thing.....
2. Texas-A Weekend in Austin would result in a few Bobcats departing for drunker worlds
3. Texas Tech- Dough goes in, Tortillas come out

PAC12
1. Washington- A weekend on Puget Sound would be incredible, along with great football up there
2. Stanford- Great team that would be fun as hell. Plus I know a BA'er could hook us up with free tix.... I hope ;)
3. Arizona State-Mill Ave. keeps calling my name

SEC:
1. Vanderbilt- Winnable game, coach we know, plus in Nashville
2. Auburn- Something about Toomer's Corner would be incredible for a gameday
3. LSU- Death Valley Part 2 Bucket List

Military: Navy-Annapolis is beautiful as could be

1 team from the Power 5 - Nebraska
Might be tough for some Bobcat fans to get there, but if Coach Solich is still on the OHIO sideline, the story line writes itself. Plus, I've heard Lincoln, NE is a great and friendly gameday atmosphere.

1 military school - Army
I know Army plays MAC schools with regularity, and I can't figure out why OHIO hasn't scheduled them. I think West Point would be a fantastic gameday experience, and wouldn't it be great if they allowed some cadets to travel to Athens and take up a section of Peden Stadium?

Good choices and Army is a much better selection than the old oil tanker OCF's Navy Middlingshipmen.

If it has to be home and homes and it's a somewhat realistic chance, then obviously it will be based on fun cities/college towns while also being winnable games (hopefully) -

ACC - Boston College
Big 10 - Indiana
Big 12 - WVU
Pac 12 - Cal Berkeley
SEC - Ole Miss

Military - Air Force

I chose Air Force for the military branch because even though the actual city of Colorado Springs is pretty conservative and boring, you are close to lots of great outdoor opportunities. I also respect the caliber of people that come out of that school/branch.

You don't want to know.

Most Memorable Bobcat Events Attended
2010 97-83 win over Georgetown in NCAA 1st round
2012 45-13 victory over ULM in the Independence Bowl
2015 34-3 drubbing of Miami @ Peden front of 25,086

I don't really care to see an academy in Peden so I'm not going to comment on that but I will go with the P5.

ACC - Syracuse. Mid level ACC team on rise. Scheduled.

Big Ten - Maryland. For recruiting and easy win.

BIG12 - Iowa State. Mid level Big 12 on the rise. Scheduled.

PAC - Oregon St. Winnable mid-tier PAC school.

SEC - LSU in Cleveland. Instead of money game play SEC 1-1 in Cleveland.

This - never understood why there are not more "package" deals. Against

Rutgers - get into NYC/Jersey market for recruits - can also compete in Bball - and I have place to stay

ACC - NC State - further push into Carolinas for recruits - and easy drive

BIG12 - WVU. Obvious reasons

SEC - USC - fun stadium - and easy drive

Military - Prefer Army - great location, have attended may games there - though my father taught at Annapolis for a period of time.

Would also accept home and home in Basketball as part of a money game with the P5 schools

Seen many of these stadiums in person but only been to a game for one-Virginia Tech and was a pretty great experience. Would love to see the tailgating or is it boat-gating for Washington on the lake.

ACC - Clemson. Everyone should experience Death Valley. Best atmosphere I've ever seen.

Big 12 - WVU. Morgantown is a good college town, and we'd bring a lot of fans.

Big Ten - Michigan. The Big House is on my bucket list. And having them in Peden would be amazing.

Pac 12 - Arizona State. Selfish pick because I can walk to their stadium. UCLA would be cool for the Rose Bowl Stadium experience. Or Washington for a weekend in Seattle.

SEC - Ole Miss. Simply to tailgate in The Grove.

Military - Air Force. Good excuse to head up to the mountains.

Thanks for the compliments about Colorado Springs. Wonder why 2-3 million people visit here each year.
I find people who make political comments on a message board pretty boring.

Conservative is not always about politics, sometimes it is about more than that. We probably all need to take a chill pill or stop listening to the hyperbole. Just saying.

You may be right. Living in the Springs leads to a lot of that here in CO so I get a little sensitive about talk like that. The Springs is a pretty neat city and not really boring, but like so much in life, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The guy may like the 30 local breweries, that might keep him from being too bored here.

Edit: US News and world Report just listed Colorado Springs as the 3rd best city to live in the US. I rest my case. It is a pretty neat place, come and try it sometime.
