I don't know if anyone follows Mid-Major Madness on Twitter, or their website, but if you love mid-major college hoops, you should check it out and give them a follow.

This is a very well done piece. There are some similarities seen around here that are comparable to the last couple years in Athens, though clearly not as severe in my mind as what the article says occurred at SIU. I hope nothing like this ever happens here.

Lastly, it goes to show you that message board content is monitored by coaches, administrative staff, and players to some degree, and that unsavory fan behavior can affect coaches, players, and recruits to some degree. Food for thought for all of us (myself included) as we think about clicking "Submit Message" on here.

LOL. Was just about to post this. Pretty similar situation to Saul's. But not sure that Saul got the abuse that Hinson did. Wonder if he got the same ultimatum?

So if the previous AD was not renewed and the chancellor up and died, what was stopping Jerry Kill from announcing loud and clear that they had all confidence that Barry Hinson is the right coach for SIU and that they will work hard to provide more resources to men's basketball?
