He was something else, that's for sure. Since I never got to see Walter Luckett in my lifetime - he's by far the best Bobcat I've ever seen in the Convo.

No Geno's "off the backboard" alley-oops in the tribute? That's disappointing. He was so much fun to watch. I was 9 when he was playing and the crowds that filled the Convo on those days were electric.

Luckett was something.

I still remember the "buzz",especially from those of us from N.Y.,N.J. and Conn.who knew about him in high school,when we found out he was coming to O.U.

Then there was the S.I. cover.
(Still have my copy somewhere)

He was a scoring machine.
And that was back in the pre-3 point days.
