Not trying to scapegoat TK. Carter has to find a way to stay on the floor. He took another three, Now shooting 19% from there after shooting 21% a year ago. Block uses 7 possessions to get 3 points. Taylor uses 10 possessions to get 3 points. The poor FT shooting is partly a function of who is shooting them. Taylor 1-4 (57% shooter), Kirk 1-6 (57% shooter) and Block 1-4 (52% shooter).
But Ohio's offensive efficiency has to get better. Defensively, they give up an adjusted 98.0 points per 100 possessions which ranks 77th in the nation. Pretty good. Offensively, they're at 97.0 points per 100 which ranks 291st. TK produces about 81 points per 100 possessions and he uses 32% of the team's possessions while he's on the floor. If you don't figure out a way to better utilize his talents, you will have a 178th ranked team.
