And based on what I heard while watching the game, similar dental challenges.

Walked downstairs to sportsback at vegas strip casino. Saw akron -1 and thought the oddsmakers were off their meds. Went to -2 after my coffee, but i can never wager against the Cats.

A couple hours later i saw it was -4 at Paris book.

(I left my cel in car at CVG airport. Had my son drive there with spare key and overnight ship the phone here so i can listen to three games this week on earbuds while on vacation. I cant see HOW the Cats can outshine yesterdays game. I was stunned at final score. Go Cats!!!)

McMurray was the tech on Ohio as he barrel rolled over Marshall following some spirited jockeying at the free throw line a minute prior. Maybe I'm letting his missing tooth cloud my judgment some.

No. He's clumsy as an ox and tries to make up for it by muscling people. Not smart. You don't need to do that when you're up by 20 with less than two minutes to go, even if the other team is still playing hard. At that point, the clock is your friend and sending the other team to the FT line just extends the game. He and Marshall got into it with about two minutes to go when Marshall elbowed him on a missed FT. He got FTs out of it. Then the two were at it again on another missed FT with about 1:10 to go and that's when he got T'ed up. He got a rebound but was double-teamed and lost the ball. That's when he jumped on Marshall. I know he wants to go hard and impress the coaches but he also needs to realize the game situation.

He did not impress anyone, including the coaches.

Tossing out what will not happpen due to minutes played but Mark Sears should be Freshman of the Year...by a landslide. What other freshman is as polished, a leader, scores, boards, assists and does it when an NBA Draft pick is out? No one. Sears is Freshman of the Year. I am sure someone else will get it but he is it!!

I love Mark Sears and he might end up being the MAC's best player in his class. But the frosh of the year will go to UT's Ryan Rollins. And he deserves it.

I believe we are all on the same page here with MM and what took place. Made zero sense.

NBA draft pick? That’s a bit premature

So it's not likely Jay Preston is an NBA Draft pick? That was my point. Not Sears but Preston. How many freshmen point guards could replace a future NBA Draft Pick (Preston) and think nothing of it? Instead the dude thrives with Jay Preston out.

I agree based on Rollins playing all year in a highlighted role. I don't know why Boals barely played Sears until Preston was hurt but if Mark was in his current role all year he would have easily been up there with Rollins in the discussion. I truly believe he and Rollins will be 3 time MAC 1st to third teamers.

The Zips drop their first home game of the MAC season tonight, 83-71 to BG. Jackson scored 22 but he was the only Zip in double figures. Three-point woes again tonight; they were 7 for 27 (25.9%) and Jackson was 5 of 12, so that means the rest of the team was 2 for 15.

First time the Falcs have won in Zippyland since 2009. Crazy. Zips have hung some banners the last 2 decades as the TV pans around the rafters.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
