I remember that one. I was there for that. I left at halftime and went to a bar. It was the last Ohio Football game I went to until after they hired Frank.

Agree with the pathetic defensive performance. At least a couple of turnovers have finally gone our way.

I differ a little bit. Sign the extension, but Collins must go.

Collins. Must. Go.

It seemed like both teams were participating in a first quarter instructional video on how not to play defense.

Jimmy Burrow being interviewed in the booth. Spent a couple days with team at Frank’s invitation. Hmmm.

If we're going with a Frank pick from his staff I'm all for Burrow coming back to lead the team. However I can't see him coming back in this situation, he left to watch Joe and I can't believe he'd pass up the opportunity to see him play on Sundays.

He would have Sundays off. Throw in plane tickets as part of his package.

You guys are bashing Ron, yet ignore the fact he spent time as the DC at much more successful programs than OHIO. Boise State anyone?

Seriously????? You think the coaches take Sunday off? They are in Peden for 12 hours on Sunday’s, it’s actually family day, and by family day the wives make dinner and bring it to their husbands and they eat together in Peden Stadium. Wow, what a great day off that is! Watching film and doing game plans all day.

BG might possess one of the worst defensive secondary's I have ever seen in Division I. Nathan hung 38 in the first half. Who knows he might break a reord in total passing and put 70+ points on the board. It's a good thing the Falcons don't have to play LSU. Joe Burrow might hang 100 on them.

Let's not kid ourselves, LSU and Burrow could hang 100 on ANY team from the MAC this year if they set out to do it.

Obviously, we have some serious defensive issues. It is either the coach, the players, or the schemes. I am a firm believer that you win with good personnel. No matter who the coach or what the schemes if you have a good players you can be successful. I just happen to believe this gets back to our lack of good recruiting. No matter what LC might say, our recruiting basically is fourth or fifth in the MAC Year in and year out. He seems to think that we can coach players up and have walk on’s that become scholarship players and win big. I just think we need to aim higher in who we recruit and get them to campus. Whatever our recruiting the last 15 years it has not gotten us a MACC. Maybe close, but not over the hump.

Look, the 125th ranked offense just laid 336 yards on us in the first half. I actually wish he would prove you right, that he belongs at a Boise versus the MAC. I hope he does...soon.

Time to pick on the offense:

Two delay of game penalties and a motion all near the red zone wouldn't cut it against a stiff defense.

Imagine in the Late 90s or early 2000s and thinking that in 2019 Ohio Bobcat fans would be complaining about a team that puts up almost a 50 piece at Halftime bahahahahahahahha.

Clowns. The Grass is RARELY Greener on the other side.

Which is why we felt Ron would perform. Yes we lost Croutch and others, but coming from Boise one would expect him to get the unit together, But Ron has failed. Decline by the unit across the board statistically and fundamentally - as again exposed by BG tonight.

Look at the empty stands. If I were the MAC commissioner and athletic directors, I would drop these weekday games on TV. It’s a downer all the way around for the fans and players. It can’t be worth it to lose a nice Saturday afternoon crowd atmosphere and all that entails.
