This story has been sent to me, posted online and discussed more than any other Ohio athletics story in the last 5 years. Not that it is an Ohio athletics story, but jeez. Mildly amusing yes, but I'm sick of people asking me about it.

this story made Robin Quivers' news segment on Howard Stern on Tuesday. At least she correctly referred to us as Ohio University.

This story was featured on Saturday's episode of "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" on National Public Radio."

FOund it humorous that everyone on my timeline got "Ohio" right for ONCE. Not Ohio U, not Ohio State, not University of Ohio. Those folks in Indiana and around the basketball world that are frequently popping up with incorrect monikers actually, for once, called it "OHIO". That's just weird.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

The game loves and rewards those who love and reward the game

Really I hope he gets the help he needs.

Dude he smokes marijuana. The same stuff 80% of college athletes medicate with.

I'll never understand why old-timers view marijuana like its an addictive opioid.

Think the bigger issue here is DJs decision making. Not the fact that he likes to smoke a little pot.

Why old-timers view marijuana like its an addictive opioid? They were shown stuff like "Reefer Madness" back in the day. That and the clip of Hendrix playing the Star Spangled Banner with his teeth on electric guitar at Woodstock on the NBC Evening News (was called the "Huntley & Brinkly Report" back then). I remember how it just about drove my dad, the former Air Force Master Sgt. over the edge when he saw it. It seems like he spent several days after that grumbling under his breath about "damn dope smoking hippies."

(I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen in my young life)
