I hope he wins the competition. I hope he does well. He would be starting at Ohio right now and he would probably be on his way to an NFL career, hopefully he finds it there. I am glad that he is confident, that should take him a long way.

Because we have a long history of developing NFL QB's.

We don't have a history of developing NFL quarterbacks, he would have been the first QB of his stature and with our running backs, wide receivers, and WR coach, he would have plenty of talent to throw to and showcase his skills. Hopefully, he wins the competition at OSU and shows well. If a QB with NFL ability comes here, he will get drafted because Ohio will allow him to develop. I don't want to keep arguing, I like the QB's we got and I wish Mr. Burrow well.

Amazing that you feel it is your place to second guess an athlete accepting the opportunity to compete at his sports highest level under the tutelage of Urban Meyer. Just amazing.

I hope I am wrong. We both believe we are amazing, me my questioning an athletes decision and me your mediocrity. Lets build on that and stop fighting.

Not beating my own chest about anything. Calling you out, yes.

You see yourself to be amazing for second guessing an athlete accepting the opportunity to compete at his sports highest level under the tutelage of Urban Meyer. Extreme self-aggrandizement beyond anything I have seen. Don't break your arm patting yourself on your back.

I thought that you believed in Solich. This is a Bobcat sight not a Buckeye sight. I want to beat Ohio State, not be their little brother. Urban Meyer used to coach in the MAC, Solich coached in a National Championship game. Why does Urban deserve to get our coaches son. The kid made a decision and I am sure he is happy. I just wish he came here. I am happy with the new guys coming in so it is a moot point.

"This is a Bobcat site", then why are you starting threads about Buckeye players?

To take from Monroe, Dang ...... Billy the Cat Owns allen. Thanks Monroe. Though, I feel my self getting pulled into a wrestling match with you and allen. I should know better, I feel myself getting dirty and you like it.

Me and Billy the cat had a disagreement and did not handle it well. Hopefully, we can be Bobcat fans together and respect our differences. God bless you guys

Surely, you can be Bobcat fans together.

You just can't expect the SFB to evaluate the performance of Solich and staff with any objectivity.

Good point: Only the unrealistic, ignorant-of-the-facts SFB should be allowed to repeat.

Great censure should flow to those who disagree with the SFB.

Shall I list the scores of the many, many head-shaking, crashing losses of the last 3-4 years here or will you post those?

I don't repeat myself. Each season is a new one and one to look forward to with positive energy (not negativity as you do).

We've seen at least 50 times you've posted these "crashing" losses! If it helps your ego post it yet again.

Do you tell your bosses the same thing time after time after time?

If Burrow doesn't see time in the complete blowouts of BG and Tulsa scheduled for 9/3 and 9/10, I think he needs to start thinking about moving his skills a bit south....

Seeing how back up QB's under Urban at OSU has played 40% of all snaps, I don't think that's a worry.

Injuries and the "I can't pick one" situation greatly impact that stat - that said it also assumes he wins/and holds on to the #2 job.

No worries, he will do his part provided he stays healthy

With collier out it is certainly wide open for him. They have no depth/experience behind Barrett. They are all in with their starter.

I agree. I think he'd be a good fit at either Louisville or Kentucky...

Any truth to the rumor that I'm 100% completely making up and that isn't true at all that Burrow will be switched to wide receiver?

Not a fan of his recent comment about being from Athens and, "Where's that?". Plenty of fine people around the world have no idea where the huge metropolis of Columbus, Ohio is on a map either.
Have some friggin pride in where you come from and stop throwing Athens and, by logical extension, Ohio University under the bus.

That is a clown comment, Joe in no way disrespected his home town or Ohio University.

He's knows where Athens is. He is a young kid, let him be. Hopefully he does well at OSU and loses the where is Athens at charade.

Again, I agree with OCF and DFC.

DFC is right. Just something about it stuck in my craw and I needed to vent. And now, I am adding to the very thread that I don't think should be here in the first place. Ugh...

Just as an aside Billy, deriding my comment and stating a personal opinion emphaticly does not a defense make.

So let's just trash the son of our defensive coordinator who's been here being a great Bobcat for a decade. Makes sense to me. Some of you are amazing.

Burrow had another great spring game, looks to be in a battle with Haskins for the backup job. Burrow is a better runer and Haskins has a gun, nontheless, he seemed to have done very well today.

Urban Meyer is evasive on naming a backup. Burrow did nothing to lose his spot. http://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/spring-...

While I'm not predicting it, I wonder what Burrow's thoughts will be if he graduates from O$U and never starts a game. It looks like that could be a possibility. If that happens, will he second guess his decision to attend A&M. I don't know him personally, so I have no idea how he'd react to that eventuality, but I doubt it's what he envisioned when he signed his LOI.
