How about this guy? Signed well after signing day, here is a kid no one wanted. A physics major, academics were never an issue. He has looked great at corner, and it appears that with Wells, Bass, and Layton all gone next year, Ohio has found one of the starters to replace them.

What a great find!

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Careful, you are an inch away from praising a coach.

Great article on what sounds like a great kid, and certainly a great addition to the team:
http://tinyurl.com/ogcem89

Here's an excerpt that most likely explains his lack of offers:
Arkley wrote:
“I didn’t go to any camps for football in high school. I didn’t know they were important,” Provitt said. “I wasn’t aware of them. And I usually played baseball the whole summer too.

“But I’d say I’m blessed with the opportunity I have right now. I was able to get a Division I scholarship to a great school. I wouldn’t take back anything.”

Wait, no way. No stars and playing as a true freshman. He must have no talent. That has to be it since the coaches never play the most talented.

I know you love the coaches, but you sound ridiculous. Provitt is heck of a find, Hopefully we don't recruit a Charles Woodson type and make him sit behind Provitt, because Provitt is a good corner.

You miss the point of the fans argument. We have talent at every position, some fans suggest that there maybe better players that are not playing. For instance, if provitt were better than Wells, that would not mean that Wells can't play Provitt is playing because of injuries. He is not playing because he beat somebody out. Let's not ruin this thread. This thread is giving honor to a good player who committed to Ohio.

How did you find out he was a physics major? That might make him my new fav Bobcat.

Sadly, it seems I got that "information" from misreading an article about him. I went back and re-read the article, and what it actually said was that he was taking honors physics in high school as well as some other AP courses. I have no idea what he's actually majoring in, I'm sorry (but, Physics is always a good choice).

He needs to work on his run support, he missed a couple of tackles today. Still a great find.
