Word is OU has reached out to St Edward QB Christian Ramos who led St Edward to its 5th Division 1 State title in 12 years on Friday (12/3) at Tom Benson Stadium in Canton against a very impressive Springfield team.

If you ask me, either of the QB's in this game (#4 Ramos in white or #8 T'Sean Smoot in blue) would be great for OU, but they never seem to recruit big time D1 players in Ohio. Especially from the big privates.

Ramos of St Edward has been offered a baseball scholarship to BGSU, but his skills as a dual threat QB ore on display in the title game. You be the judge.

Make it a package deal and bring on Pete Pappas…..defensive coordinator and OU grad.

Shhh! Pete has had a lot of offers to leave Eds and hasn't bitten on one yet! As an Eds grad, I'm glad he's stayed at Eds. As an OU grad, I admit he'd be great at OU. HC Tom Lombardo too. Lombardo has won 3 of the last 7 D1 titles in Ohio and has also won one at D2 prior to coming to St Edward. Both Lombardo and Pappas are great.

OU should also look at Zion Freer-Brown #7 LB from Eds.

Ramos signed with BG baseball over a month ago (November 17).

Didn’t Lombardo turn down an offer to be Akron’s OC under the last coach?

Lombardo is his own boss, why would he want to be anything else like an OC? Little chance any AD would hire a HS coach as a head coach at this level. Just too much liability to the AD's future if it is a bust.
