Still waiting for gophers to play, and beat, a team of any quality. I'll give Fleck credit when he goes up against Penn St., Iowa, and Wiscy this month and pulls out a couple of wins.

What were you saying?

How's this, BTC? You are the most knowledgable poster on BA. Does that stroke your ego enough or do you need another multiple page thread debating who's more of the expert on any given subject?

Fleck is too easy to poke fun at. But man he’s showing he can get results.

Gave a game ball to “the state of Wisconsin”. That’s fun.

Can somebody hit a pull up jumper for me?.....

Someone does not like sarcasm. Wow, got some underwater stuck a little high this morning? Oh, and this has nothing to do with knowledge of football 🏈.

I find the guy refreshing, and funny. He does what he believes in, he takes chances.

Their red zone offense has been really impressive this year. They've scored on 39 of 42 trips to the red zone -- 33 TDs and 6 FGs. In B10 play it's 27 of 29 -- 22 TDs and 5 FGs.

Meant to add that last year they were only 48 of 59 with 37 TDs and 11 FGs. In the B10 last year they were 32 of 41 -- 25 TDs and 7 FGs.

I was saying I like PJ Fleck, he’s done a great job! Yep, they got beat, players missed some great opportunities, but Minnesota is in a position they have not been in for decades. Row The Boat!

PJ and the Gophers (sounds like a 50’s Rock n Roll band), just won 11 games for the first time since 1904 and just beat a 9 win Auburn in the Outback Bowl. Row that Boat 🚣‍♀️ just physically pounding them.

And Minnesota was the only Big 10 team to win its New Year’s Day bowl game yesterday.

Minnesota knew (and knows) Fleck is not there for the long haul - oh to take a ride on the roller coaster.

Wayne had this reply typed a month ago. Just had to fill in a few blanks and hit "send" as soon as the UM-Auburn game was over.

GO GOPHERS! Was rooting for them all the way. Maybe the glory days of Bernie Bierman, who led the U of M to five national titles, are coming back. My mother was student there when he had some of his best teams -- the Golden Gopher years! My Minnesota cousins, of which I have many, are slowly coming around to embrace this "Row the Boat" stuff. They say he's not "Minnesota nice," but if he keeps wining they'll put up with his personality.

Guessing OCFs cousins have changed their tune. Interesting how winning makes everything okay.

Yep, see my post right above yours. One cousin told me that, "He's still an asshole, but now he's a lovable asshole."
